Extending two metres from the wall, Arm Sconce turns an adjustable lighting system into a strong architectural element. Its stainless steel structure carries two movable spotlights, with teak handles adding warmth to the exposed mechanics.

Structured as expression
Roadster treats engineering as a design material. Curves, joints and tension points are left visible, allowing the construction itself to shape the character of the piece.
Light. Repositioned.
Two spotlights travel along the arm on a mobile bogie, allowing the light to be positioned where it is needed. Each reflector rotates through 180 degrees, while vertical adjustment beneath the bogie provides further control over the direction of light.

Arm Sconce does not hide how it works. The moving bogie, exposed stainless steel components and adjustment points become part of the design, balanced by tactile teak handles.

The making of Arm Sconce lamp
Arm Sconce is built from individually fabricated components that come together to form its moving structure. Stainless steel parts are cut, formed and assembled with close attention to alignment and movement, before the bogie, spotlights and teak handles are fitted and adjusted.
